JULY CRAFTS & THINGS

 

 Join us Wednesday July 29th at 12:00 for Museum Crafts & Things. This month we are once again looking at ways to re purpose and preserve, taking what was and using it in another way, or this month because we are looking at the world of fashion, just putting a different spine on it.

We are going to be making, “SCARF & BANDANNA NECKLACES”. These can be made from material already on hand that maybe has a special memory, a shirt, dress, tie or most anything. It’s a great way to preserve a memory or maybe you have that new outfit you want something different or unique with, so you want to use new materials with the just right color you select. Either way its a great way for a one of a kind accessory.  

This is a very easy project you only need to be able to tie a knot or braid and let your imagination lead you. There is a charge of $20.00, but all supplies and refreshments are provided free.

EVERYONE IS INVITED, NO RESERVATION NEED. THERE IS A $20 ADMISSION CHARGE, BUT ALL SUPPLIES ARE PROVIDED.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN

FAIRYS, THE WEE PEOPLE &

GNOMES? 

Sometimes we need fantasy to escape the reality of life. So, for this months Crafts & Things we are going to make a fairy terrarium in remembrance of those childhood days.

On the adult side, we will be learning how to set up a terrarium to grow plants, and it's different uses. We will be using mason jars, but if you have another kind of container you want to use, bring it.
