JANUARY CRAFT

Everyone, I am sure, experienced some sort of delays or shortages during the holiday season whether it was due to shortages of products or a shipping issue. It really doesn't matter the cause if you need something.

In the coming months we are going to be learning different ways to be self sufficient with many of our everyday needs when these issues occur.

We will be beginning this years craft class's with taking a close look at the Aloe Vera plant and its many uses. Our project will be a homemade hand sanitizer using the plant.

Come join us Wed. January 11th at 1:00. There is an admission cost of $20.00 to cover cost of supplies. Everyone welcome, members and non members.

CRAFTING AT THE MUSEUM NOVEMBER/DECEMBER PROJECT

Come join us Wednesday November 9th for craft day at the Museum.  Just in time for the holidays, we will be making burlap placemats and learning about ways to give them different looks for different occasions.

Everyone likes to get a hand crafted gift, so why not come and see how simple these are to do and make a set for the ladies on your Christmas gift list.

There is a fee of $20.00 to all (members/nonmembers) to cover cost of materials.

There will not be a December meeting because of all the scheduled events in December, but we will begin classes again in January.

For more information call the Museum at 256-927-7835 or check our website at www.cherokeecountymuseumcentrealabama under events.
